Could someone familiar with ASCE 7-98 give me their opinion on the following situation. Would the Simplified Procedure or the Analytical Procedure be used to calculate the wind load on an industrial vapor combustion stack? This stack is basically a piece of pipe that is twenty four inches in diameter and stands thirty feet high.

This structure is not a building, thus the simplified procedure doesn't apply. Use Table 6-10 along with Equation 6-20 to get the wind load.
