I'm looking for the best way to calculate the wind load on an enclosed material handling gallery. The gallery consists of two 2.75m deep trusses, 4.2m apart. The gallery is about 200m long (spans approx. 30m) with a max height of about 50m (13 degree slope).
Any thoughts on calculating wind load parallel to the gallery? I'm using the Canadian code NBCC 2005. Considering it simply as a sloped roof doesn't seem right to me, but maybe I'm wrong.
Thanks.
