HI ALL
There is factor in wind load calculation by BS 6399 called altitude factor should be a correction factor , in case topography is not significant Sa(Altitude factor) = 1+0.001 Delta(s) (page 20 in BS 6399-2:1997) , where delta s is site altitude(in meters above mean sea level)
is that mean the altitude town in which the site located in , for example if i had one site in Riyadh and Riyadh is 612 meter above sea level is that mean delta s equal 612 m
