I have a problem in determining the wind coefficients on a MWFRS of a multi-gabled roof for a warehouse. One of my friends advised me to use the coefficients addressed in ASCE for low rise buildings, but I am not convinced. The ware house is the biggest in the world as my team leader tolled me (180x850m) and divided into several parts, each one is (180x180m). ASCE addresses only multi-gabled roof for C&C but not for a MWFRS (I don't know the reason). please, is there anyone can help or give his advise.

thanks,
M.Nour

This forum is a new forum set up to discuss Building Information Model (BIM) topics for structural engineers.

I am confident your question would generate many usefull comments if you were to repost it on the 'Structural Engineering other Tpics' forum. This is the forum that most of the structural engineers who visit this site 'hang out' on.

What you posted is for C&C. After a decade work in US I have just started working in canada and getting familiar with NBC. In US we have clear distinction between C&C or MWFRS. I am not clear how it is done in NBC.
