Will this PMW work my 12V 80W radiator fan?

Too big.

Feed it with 9V instead.

Won't break your fan but your control over speed may be quite course.

The details say range is 5 to 100%.

Your max power is less than 5%.

So may not work. Try it and see and let us know....

It's PWM. That should be insensitive to the load.
 
OK - I just find it difficult to believe that a $15 piece of kit is capable of a 40:1 turndown and not hunt at a very low percent of its possible output.

But maybe it does. It's only $15 FGS - just buy it and try it.
