Why is there so much sway for dead load analysis?

I have recently started learning ETABS and modelled a simple frame structure only for it to lean like Pisa. Can anyone please help me out? Where might I have gone wrong?

The visual representation is scaled by default to some value that you can visualise the actual deformations. For example visualising 2mm deflection to scale of 1:1 would be very hard at the scale on screen. You can also manually set the scale in the dialog box for displaying the deflections.

Check the actual deflection and you'll probably find they are very small?

You could have also put in a horizontal load inadvertently.

You should check the loads. A horizontal load or an imposed displacement is probably assigned by mistake to dead loads.
