why doesnÆt part color transfer from SW 07 to 08?

I created some parts with SW 07 and changed the bodies appearance so it looked like an gold anodized part. When I open the part in 08 the gold color disperse. Is there an easier way to create a gold anodized part without changing the material to gold?

If you have realview on in 2008 turn it off. Your 2007 part color should now show.
