I am machining a cylinder shape epoxy glass material, and press fitting it into a hollow cylinder shape metal ring.
Inside of the epoxy glass, i am pressing a bronze material gear.

These are actually constructed to 'break' under overloaded uses. But, of course, not 'break' under normal operation use.

What bonding agent may be appropriate to use between the epoxy glass and metal, and epoxy glass and bronze?

Thank-you in advance.

What is the loading? Axial? Torsional? Some combination?

Is the loading unidirectional and constant over time, or variable in direction and magnitude?

What are the temperatures this thing will be exposed to?

How much beyond your "normal" load do you want the thing to fail? Are you SURE that you know the "normal" loads?

Where do you want the failure to occur?

Are you really doing a press fit, and if so, do you really want to? By definition, a press fit requires an interference, hence there is no space to actually put an adhesive of any kind.
