Hello,

I just worked up the sketch showing an angled hole on a block. See attached. I want to use profile tolerance to control the hole's location, orientation, form, size, etc. My question is where should the profile FCF be placed, FCF #1 or FCF #2, or does not matter because they are same? Maybe other ways?

Applying dimensions to invisible lines is technically illegal, so it would be the best to create true view of the hole and apply both basic DIA 20 ant profile requirement to it.

Do you mean a cross section view along the hole axis?

But I still need to put basic angle dimensions, how do I do that in a skewed cross section view? The Y14.5.1 shows a some examples having diameters and FCF applied to normal views.

I think it would be more conventional to use a position tolerance in this application?

After making it perfectly clear that feature is in fact simple round hole, that would be my second suggestion :-)
