Hi all,

I am after the following products from DOW
-D.E.R.353 liquid epoxy resin
-D.E.H. 24 hardener
-Fortegra 100 epoxy toughener

I know you can buy them in bulk or in >200 kg drums, but I don't need that quantity. About 10 kg resin + hardener + toughener will do at the moment.

Anyone any idea who sells that kind of volumes?

Tnx a lot

This is exactly the kind of distributor that makes you buy a >200 kg drum of each product... Unfortunately...

Try the local distributor anyway, maybe he can sample you. Or he could point you to a local toll producer who may have stock that he could tap off or sell you.

It kinda depends on how big a Chem user you are and whether you have any pull. Just be straight with whomever you are talking.

demito,

I used to work for a company doing filament winding of composites. Surprisingly, we used McMaster-Carr for a lot of our unusual procurement.

They have an online catalog, and definitely sell Dow products. More importantly, since you are looking for something a little unusual, they can get all sorts of items not listed in their catalog. Their contact number is (630) 600-3600. Call them and ask them to quote you on sourcing a small quantity.

Another possibility I have had success with is Brenntag Specialties:

Good luck!
