What tools are used to design auto parts in the forging process?

Looking for some suggestion about tools used to design auto parts in forging process. Simply, I just know about the basic methods to make a forged part but still not able to do so. Few people suggest me to get help from a good flanges and forges manufacturers in India like CHW forge, Saini Flange etc. Just need to know, weather it possible to do it to my own or not.

Looking for positive response.
