I am doing some stress analyses of liquid N2 and O2 cryogenic systems. The material is A312 TP304. The required analysis temperature is -420° F. (Don't ask...).
This particular material has basic S values tabulated down to -425°. However, the tabulated alpha value in Table C-3 only goes down to -325°. Is there any reason I can't determine the alpha for my temperature using linear regression (extrpolation) of the other alphas and temperatures listed in Table C-3? Thanks!
Pete
