To model Column Beam Flush Endplate connection in Fire in Abaqus , what step and element type should be chosen? My reference model only mentioned to use C3D8R

element. I have used Loading step (Static-General) and Fire Step ( Coupled- temp displacement (transient)). But it doesn't show output for C3D8R element in Coupled-temp displacement step.
1. What step should be chosen if C3D8R element is chosen?
2. I tried using C3D8I for Coupled-temp displacement step, but facing "Time increment required is less than the minimum specified", I have tried increasing time increment and cutbacks but can't solve it. What to do?

The choice of step type doesn't depend on the type of element but on the physics of the process you want to simulate. In this case, changing the element type likely won't help since you've encountered convergence issues. Start by checking the interactions in the model - make sure that all parts are properly connected.

I see you used C3D8R for Coupled-temp displacement analysis. This is normal brick element for static structural analysis and corresponding hear transfer/thermal element is DC3D8R: An 8-node linear heat transfer brick, reduced integration.

What I see from abaqus mesh=>element types for Coupled- temperature-Displacement is-

C3D8T: An 8-node thermally coupled brick, trilinear displacement and temperature.
C3D8RT: An 8-node thermally coupled brick, trilinear displacement and temperature, reduced integration, hourglass control.
C3D8HT: An 8-node thermally coupled brick, trilinear displacement and temperature, hybrid, constant pressure.

Another thing did you request required output quantities for your Coupled-temp displacement step? As FEA way suggest the problem might be in the analysis setup and instabilities.
