Looking for technical info on geothermal heating

Depends on energy costs, and heating/cooling load.

Thank You. I will get additionnal information.

Engineers have asked a thermal conductivity test during borings.

Since the geotechnical firm can not conduct this test, thay have decided to cancel it. What impact will this situation could have on construction costs and design.

The more information the better but sometimes, the negative impact is negligeable

Payback on Geothermal Power Projects is primarily based on Government Incentives, the available heat in the formation over time and the initial costs of the plant - based on required metallurgy due to the corrosivity of the geothermal water/brine.

I fail to see how this question is germane to this Forum though.

Stanweld is probably correct about asking your question in either the heat transfer forum or HVAC forum. If you do, please clarify whether this is a commercial (generating a utiliy to sell), industrial (use in a manufacturing/office facilty)or residential application. Govenment incentives vary by locale and application.
I assumed it to be for a residential application but then realized it could be either of the other two.
