Hello,
I am trying to compile list of typical and maximum lengths for each material in extrusion process.
Materials - Aluminum, magnesium, titanium, carbon steel, stainless steel
These thumb rules are supposed to be compiled for new designers.
Is there any supplier that specifies these values or any study that has published it?

Solid extrusions or hollow?
Complex shape or simple?
We extrude Ti out to 40', SS about 20', and CS somewhere in between.
You don't find this referenced because it all depends...
