What are the differences between associative hatching and non-associative hatching?

I searched on google. but i don't agree to understand.
if u have answer then reply me. :confused:

The basic difference associative hatch moves with the boundry but in case of non-associative hatching it does not move.

Associative hatching causes AutoCAD to crash and corrupt drawings.
Non-associative does not.
