I mirrored a weldment part.
Is there any way to get cut-list of this mirrored part. If i mirror a part i lost my cut-list in mirrored part.

And i use relativeview to take body views. But i need to give number or name to all body views which are linked to cut-list.
I dont want to use item numbers because they are changeful. What is your method to show position number or position name of the body views in your sheets.if i bounded to use item numbers,I need to show item number in a note. When i insert a linked note to body view, note must write item number.
Sorry for bad ordered sentences.

with all respect.

"Is there any way to get cut-list of this mirrored part."
Right mouse click on the Cut List icon in the models Feature Manager and select Update.

"I need to show item number in a note."
SW2008 has the ability to include associative balloon references into a note.

thank you for your answer. Is there a way to get "main part cut list properties" automatically to "mirrored part".

I'm not sure what you mean. When I mirror a cut-list body which has properties assigned, the mirrored part automatically has the same properties.

i created mirrored part in assembly. But new mirrored part's cut-list properties are empty. I used standard profiles. Their properties(LENGTH,ANGLE) are giving automatically in main part. But mirrored part's cut-list properties are completely empty.
is it because of my old sp3.1 ? I don't use sp4, because it has some problems, especially with limit mates.

"i created mirrored part in assembly"
Can you create the mirror within the Weldment instead of an assembly?

Do you mean "if you need a mirrored part, apply a feature mirror to all bodies in main part and then hide main part with
configuration or similar methods.
Firstly thank you for your patience. ? want to change the question. What do you do when you need an assembly with two weldment structures which are mirror of each other.

To get the Cutlist to reflect the correct quantity of solid bodies, when creating the mirror feature you must select bodies. If you select mirror features, the mirrored entites will not get added to the Cutlist.

If you've already made the mirror feature, if you edit it you can only change the list of respective features or bodies...you can not change the feature from mirroring features to mirroring bodies ...or vice versa. You will have to delete the mirror feature and re-create it choosing bodies this time.

If the two structures are truly a mirror image of each other, why do you need two separate weldments?

I would create a mirror image within the weldment and use it as is in the assy.

... or

If separate structures were truly needed, I would make a copy of the weldment, then create the mirror image within that copy, but use the Delete bodies function to "suppress" the original weldment bodies.
