For butt welding of pipes, we have to make edge preparation at their end , say 30 deg.
If thickness is high, then the angle changes to 45 deg for initial 10mm and then 10 deg for remaining thickness
How do I make a database of same ?
My idea is, if I specify the pipe od and thickness and edge, the edge preparation should appear at that point automatically. How can i do it?
Also, there is another case, where one tube is welded to another one, to make a branch.
It is inserted some 5mm into the main pipe body. For that I have to make a groove in the pipe and insert the second one.
I have a database for groove sizing based on second pipe dimensions?
