Hello all,

I have an application where I would like to spotweld a star washer to sheet metal for high-current electrical grounding purposes. I am already familiar with weld-studs and weld-nuts. Is it possible there is such a thing as a weld-star-washer?

thanks,

-doug

Th area and thickness of the star washer would determine feasability of RSW this component to the sheet metal. Specialized electrodes designed for the washer would be employed, although the actual faying surface of the washer could be circular which is common for unusual shapes in RSW.
