Hi all,

I've been working on this weissinger's method for finding symmetric span loading for sometime but I'm not able to get the results properly. I'm following the NACA report No. 921 by John DeYoung et al. The problem I face is with the L function given in the report. In all the places where v equals mu, the function goes to infinity causing the lift too to become infinite. I cant figure out what to do at these spanwise locations. Pls help me out if anyone knows.

NACA TR-921 is a bit hard to read under mathematical point of view. Here the Weissinger L influence coefficients singularities was explained
unclear (pag. 14 aft A7 equation). An application of Weissinger L method can be found on NACA TR-1228 on computing procedure for L functions
wich explains how to avoid singularities in order to assemble the L influence coefficients matrix.

i retrieved TR 1228 ... didn't seem to elaborate the calculation of L ... looked to be s/ware evaluation ... damn! there are two reports (i search from tr1228) there's a "TR 1228" and a "NACA TR 1228" which looks to be the one (title talks about spanwise lift)

mind you, I've always used Schrenk dist'n for spanwise lift
