Hey,
I've been trying to use weissinger's seven point theory as a robust way to predict the lift distribution over a swept wing, only problem is I can't seem to calculate the influence coefficients.

The equation i've got is (in matrix notation):
{angle of attack} = [influence coefficients]*{G}

where the values within the column vectors {G} and {angle of attack} are found from the wing geometry at different points on the wing. I need to calculate the influence coefficients but I can't see any way to do this, does anyone who's a bit more familiar with the theory know how to do this?

I've attached a copy of the paper i'm using to go through the theory, if this helps.

Thanks in advance,
Kieran

Hi Kieranhood :

Go to NASA server and download NACA TR-1128. It is a technical report specific about Weissinger theory.You will see an
enough information for your purpose and a lot of matrices in-
cluding the influence matrix coefficients for a symetric and antisymetric load distribution ( Table VIII computing procedu-
res for F functions ).

Cheers !
