Hi all,

Do you have any experience from international standards if it is possible to eliminate wedging methode in base layer for light duty asphalt paving, say inside the factories where no heavy trucks are allowed?
For the heavy duty roads we do crushed stone 0-80 mm fraction then 20-40mm that is wedged with 5-20mm.

Thank you for any reply,

Be careful about your floor loading. Fork lifts and other warehouse equipment can have quite high wheel loads. Container storage, etc. can sink into asphalt concrete pavements softened by the heat.

Most building interiors I am familiar with have portland cement concrete floors/docks. What building use has asphalt concrete floors?

Cheers
