Wblocks Created With 2004LT Will Not Pull Up With 2000

When creating wblocks with 2004LT, even though I may pull the block up and make some edits, save setting in Options is to 2000 Auto Cad format for all dwgs.
Problem is with the 2000 Autocad on some machines, it will not let us pull up the block because it was created on later version software?
Is there a solution to auto saving wblocks to 2000 format when using 2004LT?

I don't know a tool for AC-Lt (mayby "save as"..)
