Apparently, the latest Android phones, e.g. HTC DNA, have GPS/GLONASS capabilities, i.e., they receive both the usual NAVSTAR GPS signals as well as the Russian equivalent GLONASS signals, which means there are often an absurdly large number of satellites in view (12 or 13), and the resultant position solution appears to be rock stable.

Alas, that also means that the typical GPS signal simulators cannot override my HTC DNAs GPS receiver, because they need to spoof both GPS and GLONASS to fool the DNA's receiver into thinking it's somewhere and somewhen else.

So, if you have an app that can display GPS satellite status, don't be surprised if there are satellites listed with vehicle numbers greater than 32.
