Wave Length Calculation

Dear Sir,
Please Tell me , How to calculate Wave Length based on Skjelbreia, L. & Hendrickson, J. A., Fifth order gravity. wave theory.
Since this requires wave length as input to start further calculation.

If I recall correctly, wavelength is a fundamental characteristic of the area of ocean for which you will design your product, thus it is determined by study of local environmental parameters, depth and average wave period, etc. Its been a while since I had a look at that, but I believe it is so.

The solution to Stokes 5th involves an iterative solution, to solve equations 14 and 15 of Skjelbreia, L. & Hendrickson's paper. Your 1st guess (iteration starting value) can be obtained by assuming Airy theory.

(Note, I think the equations are 14 and 15, it's been a while since I've looked at this paper.)
