Wave impinging on a structure

hi,
I need to model wave impinging on a structure and do the resulting steadystate analysis of the structure. One way would be to impose coordinate dependent boundary condtition for the given strucure. HOw do I do it with ABAQUS?

Use a ULOAD subroutine, never tried it myself but this is the way for your problem. You say that you are interested in a steady state result. Would it not be easier to just calculate the maximum wave condition and apply this as a static load distribution?
