I mostly work on the water treatment side but am becoming more interested in the collections side. My town is very lax in these things and I won't learn it there. The information I'm looking for is how to calculate loss in gallons day/in/mile during water testing of pipes using a manhole or just the pipe itself and how ground water affects the test. The CSUS books don't really get into it and have not found much information on the internet. Are there any good books or manuals that give examples of equations for water testing? Your help would be appreciated.
