Dear Freinds,
I want to apply Dalton formula to compute evaporation rate from the reservoir.However,I need water temprature data which I dont have on hand.Can you tell me how to estimate or reasonably guess the water temperature from the air temperature?
Dalton Equation,
E=b.v.(es-ea) in mm/d
b wind factor from Figure 4.3
v mean wind speed at 2m height
es saturated vapour pressure at water temperature Tw of
the waterbody(reservoir)
ea actual vapour pressure at air temperature
E evaporation in mm/d
Thank you,
