Hello Everyone,
I wanted to check in with all of you to see of any good resources, literature for installation of water lines in hill situations. I'm installing an 8 inch fire water line on a hill with quite steep slopes maxing out between 20 and 25%. Any information on anchor block design and how often to install. There are approximately 600 feet of line to be installed. Thanks for your help.

While probably not directly applicable, you may be interested in the requirements/practice contained in Section 33.46 at While I certainly don't know all details of steep slope pipeline construction, I believe a sort of "stair-step" sort of construction approach for pipe and or slope anchorage pads is sometimes used, and safety should be paramount (as basically anything dropped or dislodged etc. on sufficiently steep slopes can become a bowling ball or missile under acceleration of gravity.)
