I hope it is ok to ask what brand you would recommend.... I have multiple hot water (160 F), tempered water (115 F), and cold water lines of varying size (2", 1-1/2" and 1") through which flow is controlled by normally closed, 120 VAC solenoid valves. The header pressures are close to 40 psi and flow rates from 15 to 165 gpm. Some pipe runs are in exess of 60 linear feet. The manufacturer of these valve claims the valves are "anit-water hammer". I would disagree.

To the question....Does anyone have an inexpensive and effective means of reducing water hammer? I know these are usually mutually exclusive, however I believe there are some stellar individuals in these groups and someone has done it. I am open to any suggestion as long as it is affordable and not a waste of my limited resources.

Thank you all in advance.
