Hey Guys,

Help me out. We've been using a Trixalon bearing out of
Chile which according to the refineries works the best.
But guys this stuff is along way away isn't there another
substance or product that we could use. Minimum orders and cost are factors. But I can handle that if I can get something that works. This stuff is proprietary and they don't give you much to go on. But maybe someone our there has used this material and be a little more specific.

I will admit that we experienced a problem with bonded
bearing materials whereas the arsenic destroyed the
elements in the bonding agent.

Here's the breakdown I'd appreciate some feedback from
the specialist working with plastics.

Here's the kicker below is the pumpage broken down into its elements. It's also the bearing lubricant being used.
You can't dilute or add water without contamination.

Cu: 43. to 46 g/l
H2SO: 170 to 190 g/l
As: 8 to 10 g/l
Sb: .5 to .55 g/l
Bi: .1 < g/l
NaCl: .35 < g/l
Fluoride .005 < g/l
Zn: .020 < g/l
Ni: .28 < g/l
Ca: .04 < g/l

50,000 to 200,000 ppm
Solids: Cu (metalics) 25% and Pb: 30%
Temp. Range: 63 - 66 Deg. C

We've tried Ryerson and other's not to name drop but nobody likes the operating temperature and nobody wants to give out any assurances that the product they are offering will actually do better than this Trixalon.

I felt since this site seems to draw the experts I would see what I could find out.
