I'm just going over a report and there is reference to a W25x100. The time period would be the late 1970's and in Canada. Has anyone come across this 'critter'... I've not been able to obtain any information about the section.

Is it referenced more than once? I'm wondering if they hit the wrong key and really meant W24x100.

That was my thought... It's only referenced the one time... but, there is no other reference to a W24x100 either... my 1962 steel handbook has a 24WF100 listed.

There is an S24x100. Seems unlikely.

Could it be centimeters of depth and kg/m of weight? That would be a 10" beam 67 pounds a foot. Not an unreasonable column section.
