Whilst looking for good examples of car bodies to demonstrate my CNC router, I came across a .stl file for a VW beetle car at http://www.capture3d.com/downloads.htm which looks good. I wish to manufacture this, suitably scaled down, but at 172 MB unzipped, the file is too big for my software (Geocam) to handle. Is there a way to shrink this? I have tried loading it into Solidworks, but again the file seems too big to handle. Any ideas, or other sources of good car bodies in .stl or solidworks format? I wish to manufacture the car at a width of about 120mm.
