Voice coil OR piezo motor - which is more responsive?

Looking to get more information on speed reaction of a voice coil vs. a piezo stage under load. I know that piezo is faster in no load. however how does it react under load ? does it loose speed ?

You'll need to be more specific. Piezo is generally assumed to be faster but it so much depends on the exact application. Voice coils are much easier and cheaper to drive.
