I want to use the VLOOKUP function and return more than one value on one ore more different page in my spread sheet - is there. Is there a way to search an entire spreadsheet (multiple pages) and return or sum up ALL the values I am looking for?

I'm sure there will be a lot of ways. One way may be to use a 3-d reference. Help says:

"Refer to the same cell or range on multiple sheets by using a 3-D reference

The workbook must contain more than one worksheet. For more guidelines for using 3-D references, click .

1 Click the cell where you want to enter the function.
2 Type = (an equal sign), enter the name of the function, and then type an opening parenthesis.
3 Click the tab for the first worksheet to be referenced.
4 Hold down SHIFT and click the tab for the last worksheet to be referenced.
5 Select the cell or range of cells to be referenced.
6 Complete the formula."

Also it seems to me there should be a way to identify a range as a concatenation of multiple ranges but I don't know how to do that.

VLOOKUP across multiple sheets requires the user of named ranges.....
