VISIO Scripted Object Component in MathCAD7

I am trying to move some shapes in VISIO scripted object component to the coordinates computed by MathCAD7. I can not force it to do it in the batch-mode way similar to methode indicated in help file:
STEP:=1..InitStep etc
This causes my object to be 'ivalid'
The supposedly workable help version in sample file visio1.mcd is not working either causing the same error.
Is something wrong with my setup or is it a general MatchCAD7 problem?
