Looking at the approved video cards for 2009 I see that the one I currently have, nvidia quatro fx 540 (128mb memory) is not listed at all. I am currently running SW 2008 sp4.

Looks like I will need to upgrade and would like some input from you good folks as to what would work best for my system.

Windows XP Professional 2002 SP3
Gateway e4610d
intel core 2CPU
1.86 GHz, 2 GB ram

We design and manufacture large batteries. Most of the sub-assemblies are approximately 1 mb in size and some top level assemblies are 5+mb.

Thanks for your input

Lon

nVidia Quadro FX 570 would be the best bang for your buck - hands down. Can't go wrong with that one. Spending anymore for a better card wouldn't really bring much to the table for you.

The best thing to do is install SW2009 and just try it.

I have an FX500 (an AGP card) at home and so far it runs SW2009 without problems.

I see they didnt test the Dell M90!, well I can't see it in the 'certified' list. SW2009 works great on mine no problems at all.
