Vibration accelerometer application in Hazardous location

As a design engineer, I need some advice or help about the application of an accelerometer in a Class I Div II application. Space is critical in this application and API Code must be followed to the letter. Does anyone know of an accelerometer that meets these criteria, or a method in which the accelerometer may be mounted within a device that is API rated?
