Hi I'm new in this forum also in a job I'm tasked to do. So I would appreciate any suggestions & ideas for the problem am facing.
Task: Design a drive unit for a vibrating screen centrifuge.
Specifications: Use 2 vibratory motors to cause a vibratory amplitude of 6mm, a rotary motor to rotate basket at 500 rpm.
Our current drive is working fine and is efficient. The problem is the hassle it gives to our workshop guys when it comes to maintenance, and also the downtime it takes for vee belt replacement is a lot.
