venturi design

dear friend,
In our cement plant,We fire coal in the kiln by the burner. in the burner pipe to fed the coal we have design a venturi.
The diagram as below...
coal from wiegh feeder
Hopper
rotary feeder
through venturi in the coal line
but due to some problem, the hopper becomes full & coal started overflowing.
is any one has the solution...
we can not change the size of the hopper..
the change can be made in the speed of rotary feeder & change in venturi design...

Did it _ever_ work? If so, what did you change?

Was the hopper specifically designed for the size of coal that you are using now?

Does the hopper have vibrators to prevent bridging? Are they still working?
