Hi all,

I have been asked to certify the lift points on an underground mine vehicle (lube truck). Unfortunately, the equipment was bought in 1981 and the company that manufactured it has been bought out. The manuals don't give any indication that the current lift points are a factory installation.

It seems to me this information should have been captured in the vehicle manuals.

This project may need to get diverted to a consultant....

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Near where the springs bear weight on the frame is generally a good starting point or under an axle near the spring, like under the fish plate.
