Various layers of paper coatings?

As far as I know, there are bunch of layers of coatings on the final paper product. Also that the number of layers depends on the end paper product.

Does anyone know the various coatings on the labels we see on the cans, on the all-purpose printing papers, paperboards?

Also,what other coatings go before the clay coating?
