Hi

Wondering if anyone out there can help! I'm installing new steam and hot water boilers natural gas with propane for backup. Anyone know whether two separate valve trains; one for gas and one for propane is needed? I'm in Ontario Canada, someone told me TSSA(juristiction) likes to have two separate, but I'm not sure if this is an actual code.

I appreciate any help!

Thanks

Two trims are required by most jurisdictions.boiler regulators and ins, companies. For automatic boilers. If you were to use one trim then the gas transfer will be manual, shut one pipe and open another manually leading to accidents. If you are not familiar with gas trims, it will be better to seek professional help before is too late. Propane can surprise you. Genblr.
