Hello all, very new to Catia here. Our core cad system is Unigraphics, we have Catia because of customer requirements. I created a Catia V5 .CatPart by importing an Iges file from UG. I created a Catia V5 .CatDrawing from this .CatPart. Now I find out I must submit our customer a V4 file. I was able to save the .CatPart as a V4 .model, but how do I get the drawing into the V4 part as well? Thanks.

It isn't possible at all. You can convert only .CATParts to .models. Use dxf/dwg for Drawing translation.

Save your drawing as dxf. Go to V4 and Import the dxf file into CATIA V4 there. This requires that you have V4 available.

You will probably not be happy with the results. The Solids in your model will be isolated. Your drawing will be nothing but lines and circles isolated from the 3D. The text and dimensions will probably be unusable as well.
