I'm trying to familarize myself with the draft feature of SE v15. I also use AutoCAD 2004, which is where the 2D drawings will end up. What I'm currently doing is saving the draft as a DWG file and copying the views into the ACAD 2004 template I already have set up. The only thing I can't seem to do is preset the individual line propeties in SE, such as the hidden lines to be a different color, lineweight and layer. I have to do this manually once in ACAD, which is time consuming. Is there another way of doing this?

Hi,

If you update to V17 or higher, you will have an option 'enable layer and attribute mapping' added to the Acad translator that will help you to automatically create layers with colors and line types (you can choose them) for each type of element.

With V15, the only method would be to create the layers manually in SE (same as doing it in Acad...)
