Use stranded or non stranded (soild cables) for power distribution cables?

Also, use the same for ground cable?

you should know by now that you really need to supply a bit more information for this and your other queries such as:
Location
Regulations being used
Domestic or industrial
Power being transmitted
Voltage
Your ole in this
Contractor or designer
etc

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
 
Weĺl if you want to use solid cables larger than #10 AWG or possibly #8AWG you may need a special construction sich as Mineral Insulated cable.
In the absence of dpecial conditions Orth American codes do not care.
