I have an application where we have a urathane bead sewn onto a belt. To make the belt endless we have standard clipper lacing on the belt, but the bead in currently "welded" using a heating element and special vice.

I am looking for an adhesive that could take the place of the welding process, because electricity is not always available. Targeted curing time is about 15 minutes.

Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Pat

Use a urethane casting compound. Available from McMaster-Carr, among others.
