Upwind Fetch with Multiple Roof Projections

When there are multiple wide roof projections that are fairly closely spaced (~30') is it acceptable to use an lu equal to the spacing of the projections or should the full roof length be used?

The height of the projections vary across their width because of the slope of the building roof such that the lowest height limits the drift height but the highest does not. However, for a majority of the projection width the height does not limit the drift height. For this reason I am assuming that there would be carryover from the entire roof and I should consider the full roof length but I do not want to be overly conservative.

Hopefully I explained this well enough to make sense. If not let me know and I will throw a couple sketches together.

Thanks
