Is there a way to model an upstream contribution using only the flow value?
Thank you,
John

Add a LINK. On the first tab of the EDIT, select "Enter hydrograph manually". Route the LINK to the node to receive the flow.

If you have a time-varying flow, you can use a link to enter the complete hydrograph as described in the previous post.

If you want to add a fixed flow, its easier to enter this as a "Base Flow" within a reach or pond.

Links would work fine for upstream contributory flow, just remember to calc the other project with the correct rainfall for each storm before accepting the flows into your model.

If you use a link to break a project into several sections, HydroCAD-7 can handle all the storm events automatically. Just configure the auto-export feature to export "all events", and make sure all sections of the project have identical event defintions. (After you define the events in one section, use the "Import" button to bring the events into the other sections.)
