In the "View Orientation" dialog box, I can't seem to "pate Standard Views". Does anyone know how to fix this problem or get around it?.

To update standard views.

1) Orient your model the way you want it
2) push the space bar
3) Highlight the view you want your model to be at
4) Click the middle telescope.

Scott, I've used this function time and time again in SW 04 SP0 and had no problem. I'm running SW 05 SP 1.1 and It worked for one model but doesn't for others. It seems as though when I click the view I wish to change to, then click the update icon, the highlighted view selection becomes unhighlighted. And the message saying this will update other places doesn't even come up!? Any help would be appeciated

I just tried it again and this time the message telling me that it will update other othogonal views did come up, I selected yes and it still did not change the view.

Creech,

I've been having the same problem. I have discovered that if you try it several times in a row eventually it works. No idea what causes the problem, but I have observed that when I click on the update button I can see the highlighted choice jump back to the present view just before the dialog box disappears and no update takes place. I too have only seen this problem since loading 2005. I happened with SP0.1 and SP1.1 At least now I know I am not alone with this problem.
